Our Story
Ruhee was cat-sitting in Austin and Farhaz was out on his construction site. Somehow they squeezed in six dates while they were both in town… and didn’t even realize they were starting forever. Shoutout to Hinge and a touch of fate.
July 10th, 2022
After a couple months of long distance, Farhaz and Ruhee took a trip to Costa Rica, their first international adventure together. And somewhere between the volcano and rainforests, Farhaz asked Ruhee to be his girlfriend!
September 18th 2022
Ruhee moved from Atlanta to Houston (because long distance truly sucks). Farhaz and Ruhee finally built their first home together.
April 13th 2023
On a trip through Switzerland and Italy, Farhaz and Ruhee had that “oh wow” moment; this is where they knew their future wedding had to be in Europe!
October 2023
On their 3-year anniversary at Lake McDonald, with Montana’s peaks reflecting in the water, Farhaz proposed. It felt like the world paused as they said yes to forever.

We will be celebrating all events at Quinta de Cabanas - Douro Country House.
Shuttles will be provided from allotted hotels to the venue before event start times.
Douro Valley is about 1 hour from the Porto airport and 3.5 hours from Lisbon. Uber and Bolt apps work in the area
We have also coordinated multiple hotel options for our guests. Transportation from these hotels will be provided to our events. Please check the travel tab for more information.
